The nightlife in Phuket is big. The biggest and most well known places are set in Patong and of course there are many places in Phuket Town even if the tourists tend to stick to Patong where there are hundreds of bars. The most busy street with no doubt is Soi Bangla where you find booth bars and some clubs.
If you plan on entering a club you should not go out to early. Around or an hour before midnight is a good time to head out to the clubs. If you want a good crown the top options on this list is the safest.
Seduction
On a side street on the upper part of Soi Bangla the very famous Club Seduction is set. A red carpet leads you along the side street up to the stairs to the entrance. The club plays various kind of music and have 2 floors. The main floor is on the bottom level where you can dance in the middle and hang out on the sides where you have sofas and bar tables.
Even if most people here are tourists there are usually some locals as well.
Safari
This is the late night option which are often open until the morning hours when all t e other clubs closed long time ago. It is set outside in a nice jungle environment, the area is not rectangular but sticks with nature and the music varies. Safari is found up on the hill when going towards Karon on the right side.
In low season the club can be closed, it is all depending on how many people there are. Safari is a good pick for sure.
Banana Disco
Right along the beach road at the entrance to Soi Bangla this disco is found. At the entrance there is an outdoor section with bar and inside you can keep dancing to house and techno music and sometimes live bands. The dance floor is kind of small and can get crowded, but this at least means it’s a popular place. This place might not be as hip as Seduction but a good option.
VIP – (FBI) Finest Bar in Thailand
A big place that is very easy to find right where Bangla Road meets Rat-U-Tid 200 Pee Road. It has big neon signs and inside there are a small dance floor but more places to sit. The music varies as in most clubs, this place seem to be a big club on the outside, but not on the inside.
The Shark Club
The Shark Club and Discotheque is found in the corner of Soi Bangla and Rat-U-Tid 200 Pee Road. This club is relatively new and have a big light system with big lasers and a big open dance floor.
Club Lime
This relatively new club is found on the beach road. The club have a hip inside with different sections. The club plays house and different kinds of dance music. As most new places I have heard this is often an empty place.
Tiger
This bar/club is often packed…. with tourists and thai girls. There are two levels where the club is on level two and the bar section on level one. The place is often very crowded and the bar-feeling is much stronger than the club-feeling.
Marine
This club in Phuket Town is very popular for Thai people and can be a good option for those of you who are tired of the Patong nightlife. The place is not very big but usually very crowded.
